You can now view receipts from H&M directly on your Monzo app! And most importantly, these are legal proof-of-purchase that you can use to return items, if necessary. And it's all thanks to our friends at Flux.
To get started, wait until you've made an in-store transaction at H&M. Then, when you tap on the transaction in your feed, you'll see the option to connect your account to Flux.
Digital receipts are usually available soon after the transaction and you can access them by clicking on the transaction itself.
Over the past year nearly 250,000 Monzo customers have enjoyed itemised digital receipts from EAT., Itsu, Just Eat, KFC, Papa John's, Pure and many more. Today we're announcing the addition of H&M, with more on the way soon!
What are the advantages?
Avoid unnecessary contact with staff and you won't need to touch a physical receipt, helping you to maintain social distancing.
Easily find a receipt in the app from a transaction, instead of looking through hundreds of old receipts in your bedside table.
Help the environment, reducing the millions of pounds of wasted paper due to receipts across the country.
Our receipts now contain a receipt ID at the bottom, which makes them a valid proof-of-purchase when returning items in-store. Just show that number to H&M staff and they'll be able to identify the transaction for you! So no need to worry if you've lost your physical receipt. In the near future we may also add a barcode that staff can scan to make this experience seamless.
And to celebrate the launch, the team at Flux are giving 10 lucky customers a chance to win an H&M gift card valued at £100! To enter, simply sign up to the Flux mailing list and you’ll be automatically entered into the draw. Remember to sign up using the email address linked to your Monzo account.
