From now on, your customers can pay you with Apple Pay & Google Pay – so all that stands between you and that just-got-paid feeling is a few taps on their phone 🎉
Getting paid should be simple for you and your customers, but we know that it’s often a long, painful process.
That’s why we’ve given you the opportunity to offer customers ways to pay that are convenient for them – which means less hassle for everyone involved. And with every part of getting paid now in your Monzo Business account, there’s less admin for you too.
Accepting online card payments automatically includes Apple Pay and Google Pay
You can now automatically add Apple Pay & Google Pay to the ways your customers can pay, alongside all major credit and debit cards.
We've teamed up with Stripe, a trusted card payments company, to offer them. You can apply for a Stripe account in the Monzo app (and we'll fill the application form with any details you gave us when you signed up).
How much does it cost?
You'll pay the same as what you'd pay if you went directly to Stripe.
For UK cards, it's 1.4% of the total transaction amount, plus 20p.
For European Economic Area (EEA) cards, it's 2.5% of the total transaction amount, plus 20p.
And for all other cards, it's 2.9% of the total transaction amount, plus 20p.
Your customers can use easy bank transfers too
We all know the pain of manual bank transfers. Typing out someone's bank details, triple checking them, following up to make sure the payment went through.
Say hello to easy bank transfers. They’re just like any other bank transfer, minus the typing. We'll fill out the details, straight in your customer's own banking app or online banking account. All they have to do is tap to confirm.
How much does it cost?
Easy bank transfers are free until 2023.
How do I get started?
To offer Apple Pay & Google Pay and explore other payment methods, head to the Get Paid tab in your app or browser. Get started and set up a Stripe account in a few taps!
