People are switching to Monzo and leaving their high street banks behind
Christy Laverty, 22, is a student at the University of Sunderland. He’s used Monzo for 18 months. He made Monzo his main bank account in November, after switching away from Lloyds.
“I was fed up with my old bank. My mum actually went 'full Monzo' before me! She told me about the benefits, and some of the features like Get Paid Early. I didn't realise how easy it was to switch.
"With Monzo, I can see what I’m spending constantly. I save better, and I don’t have to queue at a bank branch to speak to someone about my money. I can do my banking while I’m sat on the train! The old version of banking is obsolete."
